The brainstorming (consultative) meeting of the secretariats of the two international congresses of “Allamah Hilli (RA)” and “Allamah Mir Hamid Husayn Lakhnavi (RA)” was held.
The members of the secretariat of the International Congress Commemorating Allamah Mir Hamid Husayn Lakhnavi, by attending the venue of the secretariat of the International Congress of Allamah Hilli, met with the officials of this congress and conversed about the fields of scientific and research cooperation between the two centers.
In this meeting, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Seyyed Hossein Mousavi Boroujerdi, the director of the International Congress of Allamah Hilli, presented a report on the process of formation, goals, scientific structure, and research activities of this congress, and addressed the programs of the Husayniyyah Shrine (Aتبة حسينية) for reviving the scientific heritage of Allamah Hilli and introducing the works and thoughts of this prominent scholar of the Shiite world.
In the continuation, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Dr. Ruhollah Kazemi, the secretary of the International Congress Commemorating Allamah Mir Hamid Husayn Lakhnavi, presented a report on the most important actions of the congress secretariat. Referring to the revival of the works of Allamah Mir Hamid Husayn and his scientific lineage, he explained the process of identifying and collecting manuscripts, correcting and publishing the “Abaqat al-Anwar” collection, compiling research works, holding scientific sessions, and the planned programs for holding the congress.
Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Mohammad Taghi Sobhani, the president of the congress, also pointing out the importance of synergy among active scientific centers in the field of reviving Shiite heritage, emphasized the necessity of exchanging experiences, utilizing joint capacities, and developing scientific cooperation between specialized congresses.
In the continuation of the meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on mechanisms for expanding scientific and research cooperation, using joint capacities in the field of codicology (manuscript studies), correcting and publishing works, holding scientific sessions, exchanging executive experiences, and utilizing the capability of the researchers of the two centers.
Also, the use of the capacities of the Husayniyyah Shrine in introducing the scientific heritage of Shiite scholars, developing scientific relations among research centers, and strengthening international cooperation in the field of reviving the written heritage of Shiism was emphasized.
At the end of this meeting, expressing satisfaction with the formation of this scientific interaction, both sides emphasized the continuation of communication and planning for the implementation of joint research and cultural projects.
